Mark-Small

Mark  Small / SMSF Adviser

Mark Small is an ex-investment banker with over 30 years experience at the coal face of the financial markets in Australia focused primarily on the creation of financial products tailored to the superannuation market.

Mark’s investment banking career spanned 22 years working in the dealing room’s of Bankers Trust, Macquarie Bank, UBS and Merrill Lynch.  During that time Mark was responsible for the creation and sales of innovative wealth creation and risk management products for both the retail and wholesale markets including self managed super funds.

Mark holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree, a postgraduate degree in Applied Finance and Investment, derivatives accreditation (Level 2), and a Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management.  When he’s not focused on the investment markets, Mark enjoys spending time with his partner and 5 children as well as a wide range of sporting interests including golf, running, rugby, cricket and AFL.

Joshua-Narain

Joshua Narain / Associate Adviser

Joshua is employed as an undergraduate associate adviser while completing his Law & Commerce Double Degree at Bond University.

Gavin-Conyers

Gavin Conyers / Head of Accounting / VIC & TAS State Manager

Gavin is a senior SMSF professional with more than 20 years’ experience in Banking & Finance, Financial Services, Software and IT solutions. He is passionate about developing solutions for the SMSF market and has a solid understanding of all aspects in the SMSF sector including accounting, audit, administration, data integration, portfolio management, outsourcing, software and IT infrastructure.

Gavin began his career as a product manager at BGL, Australia’s leading SMSF software solution. He has since worked in a senior management capacity in companies such as Justsuper, Deloitte and NAB in developing some of Australia’s leading SMSF administration and accounting solutions.

He is an efficiency expert and and specialist in building SMSF businesses that provide positive value added experiences to SMSF trustees. He is an avid believe in making things simpler by embracing change and technology.

Gavin is CPA qualified and holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting).

During his spare time Gavin enjoys keeping fit by training to climb mountains and also enjoys flying.

Justin-Beeton

Justin Beeton / Founder and Managing Director, Head SMSF Adviser

Over the past 20 years, Justin Beeton has become one of Australia’s most successful investors, superannuation experts, and entrepreneurs.

Justin has had extensive experience both in superannuation and investment management at some of the leading investment services firms in Australia.

Justin has written numerous articles for financial journals and is a regular investment expert on various news channels.

Justin holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree, a post graduate diploma in Applied Finance and Investment, is a licensed investment adviser, and a qualified and practicing investment manager.

Rebecca-Beeton

Rebecca Beeton / Operations Director

Rebecca has Diploma in Financial Planning, and is an accredited Insurance Specialist and Self-Managed Super Fund adviser. She has over 15 years’ experience in the financial planning industry. Rebecca has held a number of roles in the financial services industry starting with Westpac in their Consumer Lending area, then National Private Bank as a Para-Planner before moving into a Financial Planning role.  She joined Macquarie Private Wealth in 2002 assuming the role as Technical Sales Manager where she stayed for 6 years.

Following the birth or her second child Rebecca began consulting to a number of smaller financial services and accounting businesses as a Para Planner and Technical Specialist before joining The SMSF Club in 2013. During her career at Macquarie Rebecca was responsible for rolling out technical training for advisers in the more complex areas of financial planning. This experience allowed Rebecca to develop a very strong skill set in the more technical areas of financial advice. Rebecca now runs the operational side of The SMSF Club and works with our licensee to monitor the compliance of the business and also manages the bookkeeping.
